Jennifer Tucker, MHS Chief Operating Officer
Jennifer’s 17-year tenure in the home care industry brings valuable insight into the competitive landscape, target market, and the unique dynamics of franchising. Her passion for people and the Homewatch CareGivers brand were instrumental to her being named COO in February 2019. In addition to her work as the Vice President of Marketing & Business Development at Homewatch CareGivers, LLC, she previously worked in corporate wellness, case management and health promotion. From these past experiences, she brings a robust understanding of the ever-changing health care industry. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in English and Government/Law from Lafayette College in Easton, Penn., she earned a Masters of Health Sciences from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health in Baltimore.
Jennifer Ramona VP Strategy & Healthcare Innovation
Jennifer (“JR”) joined Homewatch CareGivers in April 2013 as Director of Business Development and was promoted to Vice President of Strategy & Healthcare Innovation in August 2018. The purpose of her role is to advance strategic positioning and focus resources on growing network revenue, particularly within the healthcare continuum. JR is responsible for driving thought leadership in the form of business model expansion, business line and payor strategy development, partnerships, and alliances. This is achieved through her gathering and assimilation of industry and market intelligence. In addition, JR interfaces with senior leaders via her participation within the National Quality Forum (NQF). JR draws from nearly two decades of healthcare experience in roles that encompassed the spectrum of operations and sales, from field-level through executive management. She graduated from Boston University with a degree in Marine Biology and International Relations, with graduate work in environmental science/human health risk assessment and counseling.
Jean Forbes Director of Franchise Relations, CFE
Jean has been with Homewatch CareGivers, LLC since 2006. She provides operational expansion guidance and life cycle business growth support for Franchise Owners domestically and internationally. In particular, she works closely with all owners on compliance as well as satisfaction and serves as our Staff Liaison to the Franchise Advisory Council. Jean previously worked for International Networks, a subsidiary of Comcast Corporation, in telecommunications where she supported business partners throughout Europe, Asia and Canada. She excels in business management and growth. Jean graduated from the University of Minnesota with a double major in German and History. She holds a Certified Franchise Executive designation through the International Franchise Association and has a Certified Senior Advisor designation.
Joanne Marthe Director of System Operations
Joanne has been with the Homewatch CareGivers, LLC Franchise Support Center since 2006. Joanne’s 20+ years in project management and process development combined with the knowledge she has gained by holding several positions within Homewatch CareGivers allow her to fully understand the scope of the day-to-day business. Joanne has a Business Analysis Certification through Duke University, a Strategic Organizational Leadership certificate, and a Six Sigma Green Belt. She previously worked as a Process Engineer at Level 3 Communications and as a Lead Process Analyst for Qwest Communications. Joanne has taken what she has learned and it now applying it towards improving the quality of our Business Management System, Homewatch CareGivers Care+.
Joe Stefanko Director of Franchise Operations
Joe’s focus as Director of Franchise Operations is to assist in the development of any processes and policies that are needed for Franchise Owners to operate efficiently and within state and federal guidelines. Joe graduated from the University of Mount Union with a BA in Elementary Education. In 1994, he began his career in home care working with individuals with developmental disabilities as a caregiver and supervisor. In 2003, he joined the team at Homewatch CareGivers of Central Ohio as Chief Administrator. In 2008, he joined the Franchise Support Center as Field Operations Manager and has been in his current role as Director of Franchise Operations since 2014. In 2018 he received his SHRM-CP certification and is a current member of the Home Care Association of America (HCAOA) and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Tessa Hood National Director of Business Development
Tessa joined Homewatch CareGivers, LLC in 2015 as the Business Development Manager and was promoted to National Director of Business Development in 2019. In her current role she is responsible for management of strategic field sales, gathering and assimilating industry intelligence, providing ongoing field sales support, advising on effective marketing and advertising to generate business development opportunities, and cultivating and managing national accounts, specifically strategic alliances, to be executed at the local level. Prior to joining the company, Tessa studied Molecular and Developmental Biology and Human Genetics and worked in the healthcare field which included negotiating state and hospital contracts and piloting national initiatives.
Ann Hammell Director of Franchise Support, CFE
Ann joined Homewatch CareGivers, LLC in 2012 as a Quality Support Manager and was promoted in November 2019 to the position of Director of Franchise Support. She provides operational guidance and business growth support for Franchise Owners. In particular, she works closely with all new and emerging owners to facilitate a rapid ramp up of their business and directs our in-house new Franchise Owner training. Ann has spent over 27 years in franchising, she previously worked for Great Clips Inc. in a variety of positions both at the franchisee and franchisor level. Ann graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Management and also holds a Certified Franchise Executive designation through the International Franchise Association.
