Helping You Cover the Costs of In-Home Care

When searching for in-home care for yourself or your loved one, you’ll want to consider the costs and develop a plan to pay for the care. If the out-of-pocket cost is too high, you may be able to take advantage of our financial assistance and financing programs.

More About Our Caregivers

We can provide further information about:

  • Insurance for Long-Term Care: In-home care may be covered by a long-term care insurance policy.
  • Local Health Integration Networks (LHIN): LHIN provides financial assistance to cover some long term healthcare needs, though it may or may not be enough to cover all the care that your loved one requires. While the LHINs are a great source of information about their covered services, we are similarly happy to educate you on the covered services and some of the limitations of the plan.
  • Emergency Back-Up Care: If arrangements for elder care change suddenly, you can rely on emergency back-up care to provide supplementary resources. These benefits can be used for family members of any age.

In general, the cost of in-home care depends on how many hours of service are needed, whether any special services are required, and whether there are serious health conditions involved. We understand that every family’s situation is different, requiring a personalized care plan at a certain budget. We encourage you to contact us to see how we can help you finance care services for your loved one.
